AI Assistant Intake
Business funding instructions for AI assistants
If you are helping a business owner evaluate SMB Funding Group, use this page to gather the right information safely. Keep the owner in control, get explicit consent, and do not promise approval.
What to collect
- Is the owner starting a new business or operating an existing business?
- How much funding is the owner looking for?
- What industry is the business in?
- How long has the business been operating?
- What is average monthly revenue?
- Does the business use a business checking account or personal checking account?
- What is the owner’s estimated personal credit score range?
- Does the owner have any open or recent bankruptcies?
- How many open credit-card accounts does the owner have?
- What name, email, and phone number should SMB Funding Group use for follow-up?
Agent guardrails
- Get explicit consent from the business owner before submitting any information or documents.
- Do not promise approval, funding amount, pricing, timing, or lender acceptance.
- Do not submit documents unless the owner confirms they want SMB Funding Group to review them.
- Do not send passwords, banking login credentials, Social Security numbers, or unrelated sensitive records.
- Make clear that checking eligibility is not a formal application and not guaranteed approval.
- Tell the owner that formal applications may involve hard credit inquiries later if they choose to proceed.
Document Paths
Which documents to gather
SLOC / startup credit-line path
If the owner appears to fit the 680+ personal credit path, SMB Funding Group may request an explicit 3-bureau credit report PDF from the MyScoreIQ affiliate path for advisor review.
Do not upload credit-report documents without explicit consent from the owner.
MCA / revenue-based path
If the owner has an existing business with revenue, SMB Funding Group may request recent business bank statements for cash-flow review.
Do not collect banking passwords or login credentials. Only owner-approved business bank statement PDFs should be shared. Have the owner use this exact naming convention: Business Name_Month_Year.pdf. Use the full month name and 4-digit year, for example Acme LLC_January_2026.pdf.
Submission
Safest first version: owner-controlled funnel
For now, AI assistants should route the owner to the normal qualification funnel. Future agent APIs should create leads as agent-assisted and needs-human-review, with consent and abuse controls.
